Zafa Court No. 41 Military & Veterans Affairs (MAVA) Committee is proud to host the Warm Hearts for Heroes – Winter Warmth Collection Drive in support of local veterans. As temperatures drop, even the simplest essentials can make a powerful difference. We are collecting new wool socks, thermal underwear (tops and bottoms), wool beanies, and gloves to help keep our heroes warm this winter. Donations will be accepted beginning Monday, February 23, 2026, at 6:15 PM (prior to the Zafa Court 41 business meeting) at Zafa Temple 176, 2312 S. Alston Ave., Durham, NC 27707. The final date to give is March 5, 2026. All collected items will be delivered to the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Durham on March 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM. A simple pair of socks. A warm hat. A small act of kindness. Together, we can show our veterans they are valued, remembered, and deeply appreciated.
