Who is WitchiePoo??? Born on October 31st, my name felt destined... It honors my Aunt Mary, who according to my mother instantly gave me that name... WitchiePoo reflects my love for creativity, individuality, and standing out without needing permission... She’s fun on the surface, but layered underneath with wisdom, strength, and intention... Being a clown allows me to be silly, creative, and kind all at once. I get to spread joy, cheer people on, and remind everyone, kids and grown-ups alike, that it’s okay to laugh, to shine, and to be exactly who you are... I didn’t become a clown just to be funny, I became one to heal, uplift, and connect... My life has always been rooted in service: fostering, mentoring youth, and showing up where joy is needed most... I’ve seen firsthand how laughter can break down walls, soften heavy moments, and reach people when words alone can’t... Clowning gave me permission to lead with joy... To serve without intimidation... To show up boldly, creatively, and authentically especially for children, elders, and communities who need light in dark moments... Behind the costume is structure, discipline, and intention... This is organized joy... Purposeful joy... And it aligns perfectly with who I’ve always been, someone who sees a need and fills it sometimes with a smile, sometimes with silliness, but always with heart... WitchiePoo is a reflection of confidence, courage, laughter, and self-expression... She is clever, bold, and unapologetically herself... She doesn’t dim her light to make others comfortable she turns her quirks into power... I am she, she is me... YITF, Dt.
